In partnership with West Virginia University Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, the Adolescent Sexual Offenders Residential Treatment program at Chestnut Ridge Center provides extended inpatient therapeutic services for offenders.
Adolescent males between the ages of 13 and 17 who have committed sexual offenses are offered a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation program within a structured therapeutic environment. Lengths of stay for those who successfully complete the program range from 18 to 24 months.
In addition to sexual offender-specific treatment, individuals admitted to this program also receive treatment for any coexisting behavioral or emotional disorders and substance abuse or dependence.
