Recent advances in RNA research have shifted our understanding on the importance of these molecules in clinical, commercial and basic scientific contexts. The development of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines has demonstrated the potential of RNA-based medicine, which is expected to become prominent in future diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic tools.
For this reason, focusing an Evening of Science on RNA research at West Virginia University provides a great opportunity for researchers already engaged in or planning to pursue RNA-based research. This platform will facilitate connections, collaborations and synergies for future projects, benefiting not only the WVU community but also enhancing interactions with other institutions.
Featured speakers include Heath Damron, Ivan Martinez and Aaron Robart.
Presented by the WVU Health Sciences Office of Research and Graduate Education and Operation Blue Sky.
