Sports Medicine

Have warmer temperatures found you outside participating in your sports and recreational activities more often?

Perhaps you’ve found yourself with a case of biker’s wrist, turf toe, or tennis, baseball, or golfer’s elbow. Maybe you tore your rotator cuff on the baseball diamond or suffered a concussion on the football field or cycling path. Or maybe you’ve developed exercise-induced asthma or a heat-related illness.

No matter if you’re a star performer, an athlete in training, or a hobbyist, the WVU Sports Medicine Center has the expertise you need to get back to the activities you enjoy.

Our physicians evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries using a wide variety of rehabilitative techniques. They not only manage injuries and medical conditions in athletes and performers, but they also treat and help manage illnesses that can hinder performance.

Located in a 3,500-square-foot space behind Healthworks Rehab and Fitness Center in Morgantown, the WVU Sports Medicine Center features six exam room and an on-site X-ray suite.
