Biostatistics professor presents Grand Rounds, publishes manuscript and blog article on meta-analysis

In October, Department of Biostatistics Professor George Kelley was invited to present Grand Rounds at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a public center of health sciences research, patient care, and education located in Omaha. Kelley also published a manuscript and blog article on the same subject.

Kelley presented "Systematic Reviews with Meta-Analysis: An Overview with Practical Application to Exercise and External Funding" on October 26. He also co-authored a manuscript published in BMC Cancer titled "Exercise and Cancer-Related Fatigue in Adults: A systematic review of previous systematic reviews with meta-analyses." BMC blog series also featured a post derived from that manuscript, "Systematic reviews made simple."

Kelley is a full professor and director of the Meta-Analytic Research Group in the School of Public Health's Department of Biostatistics.
