Donations of vitamins needed for health care team's medical trip to Honduras

A team of healthcare professionals, including faculty, graduate students and alumni from the WVU School of Nursing, will travel to Honduras April 2019 to provide free health care to patients who live in remote areas of the country.

As a part of this trip, the team is collecting donations of multivitamins for patients:

  • children's chewable multivitamins (not gummies, must have an expiration date after June 2019).
  • prenatal vitamins (not gummies, must have an expiration date after June 2019)

Primary care will be provided to approximately 800 patients in a week and about 2,500 prescriptions will be dispensed.

Donations can be dropped off in the WVU School of Nursing, sixth floor, HSC South, in the Student Services wing.
