Monongalia County Relay for Life

Event Location: Westwood Middle School, 670 River Rd, Westover, WV

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life will be held from 7 p.m. Friday (June 8) to 7 a.m. Saturday (June 9) at the Westwood Middle School track. The WVU Cancer Institute is a sponsor of the event.

Proceeds from the event support cancer research and resources, as well as transportion for cancer patients and their families.

WVU Cancer Institute Director Richard Goldberg, MD, and Hannah Hazard-Jenkins, MD, are planning a "white coat lap" at 7 p.m. Friday. Faculty and members of the medical team who own a white coat are encouraged to participate.
