Polar Plunge
Event Location: Star City Park and Marina, Morgantown, WV
The 2018 Morgantown Polar Plunge, which supports the West Virginia Special Olympics, is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at Star City Park and Marina. WVU Medicine is a sponsor.
Participants who register for the event will collect donations from family and friends in the weeks leading up to the event. At the event, they'll plunge into the Monongahela River. Many will be dressed in creative costumes.
