ACS Relay for Life Kickoff

Event Location: Buffalo Wild Wings, Suncrest Towne Centre

The American Cancer Society will host a kick-off celebration for the 2018 Monongalia County Relay for Life on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings at the Suncrest Towne Centre. 

Anyone interested in getting involved with this year's event – either as a team captain, team member, or committee member – is invited to attend. Family members are welcome, too. Hannah Hazard-Jenkins, MD, surgeon-in-chief and director of clinical services at the WVU Cancer Institute, will serve as the guest speaker.

Attendees who mention the Relay for Life when placing a food or drink order at the event will have 15 percent of their order total donated to the American Cancer Society.

The Monongalia County Relay for Life will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 8-9, at Westwood Middle School in Morgantown. The WVU Cancer Institute will serve as a sponsor of the event, which benefits the American Cancer Society.
