Judie Charlton, MD
Dr. Charlton, MD is Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology. Her special interests include glaucoma and cataracts. She received her MD from West Virginia University and completed her specialty training at West Virginia University and Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Dr. Charlton is board certified in ophthalmology.
Geoffrey E. Bradford, MD, FACS
Dr. Bradford received his MD from Pennsylvania State University, Hershey, PA. He completed specialty training in Akron City Hospital, Akron, OH and Scottish Rite Children's Medical Center, Atlanta, GA. Dr. Bradford is board certified in ophthalmology, and his area of special interests is strabismus
Lionel Chisholm, MD, FRCS
Dr. Chisholm is a board certified ophthalmologist with the Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He received his degree from University of Toronto and completed specialty training at University of Toronto Hospitals, the Retina Foundation and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston. Dr. Chisholm’s area of special interest is retina and vitreous.
Brian D. Ellis, MD
Dr. Ellis, a board certified ophthalmologist, received his degree from Temple University. He completed specialty training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. His areas of special interest include neuro-ophthalmology, pseudotumor cerebri, optic neuritis and anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.
Cristoforo Larzo, MD
Dr. Larzo, MD, provides complete medical and surgical treatment for all retinal diseases at the WVU Eye Institute. Larzo earned his medical degree from West Virginia University and also completed his specialty training, including a fellowship in retinal diseases, at WVU. He is trained to perform simultaneous cataract and retina surgery and provides laser and medical surgery for diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He also provides the latest treatment for macular degeneration, including Macugen and Lucentis, along with other treatments for chronic inflammation, infection, and macular diseases.
Monique Leys, MD
Dr. Leys, MD is board certified in ophthalmology in both the United States and Europe. She is a specialist in retina and comprehensive ophthalmology. She also has clinical interests in electrophysiology and psychophysics. Dr. Leys received her degree from Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven, Belgium, and completed her specialty training at Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam, the Netherlands, West Virginia University, and Rijksuniversiteit Gent, Belgium.
John Linberg, MD
Dr. Linberg received his medical degree from New York University and completed specialty training at Columbia University and the University of Iowa. He is board certified in ophthalmology and his areas of special interest include oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal disorders.
Charles A. Moore, MD
Dr. Moore received his medical degree and completed specialty training at West Virginia University. He is board certified in ophthalmology, and has a special interest in cataract surgery.
Anthony Realini, MD
Dr. Realini, MD, is a board certified ophthalmologist with special expertise in glaucoma. He can perform tests that can detect the disease as early as possible to give patients the best chance to prevent permanent damage. He also performs laser surgery or microsurgery and prescribes medication as treatment. Dr. Realini received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed specialty training at the University of Kentucky.
Terry Schwartz, MD
Dr. Schwartz is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist. She received her medical degree from West Virginia University and completed specialty training at Johns Hopkins University, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, West Virginia University and the University of Iowa. Dr. Schwartz’s areas of special interests include pediatric vision rehabilitation and binocular vision.
Jennifer Sivak-Callcott, MD
Dr. Sivak-Callcott, MD received her medical degree from Ohio State University and trained in ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University. She completed an advanced fellowship in orbital and oculoplastic surgery at the University of British Columbia. Her special interests include plastic surgery. Dr. Sivak-Callcott specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the orbit and supporting structures of the eye, and oculoplastic surgery
Lee A. Wiley, MD
Dr. Wiley’s special interests include refractive surgery, including Lasik and external diseases. He received his MD from University of Pittsburgh and completed specialty training in ophthalmology at Medical College of Wisconsin. His areas of special interests include cornea, external disease and refractive surgery.
