Our cardiovascular disease fellowship provides an expansive experience working with faculty who are experts in every aspect of cardiac care, ranging from standard procedures such as outpatient consultation, echocardiography and angiography to advanced clinical research into heart failure, preventive cardiology and radio-frequency ablation.
Training at the state-of-the-art WVU Medicine Heart and Vascular Institute, fellows have access to nationally recognized experts who are at the forefront of innovative therapies and technology. WVU heart physicians perform more than 5,000 operations a year, and the cardiology program offers a wealth of surgical procedures, preventive clinics and rehabilitation services for adults and children.
