Free Dual Opioid Training Sessions Available

For area healthcare workers, social workers, physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners battling the opioid epidemic:, a free dual course is available Nov. 15, 2019, at the United Hospital Center.

Course 2: PCSS Half and Half MAT Waiver Training 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. A $1,000 lost productivity payment will be awarded to any physician who obtains the waiver to prescribe buprenorphine and a $750 payment will be awarded to any nurse practitioner or physician assistant who obtains the waiver. This offer is subject to availability of funds, so it may be time-limited.
