  • Talkspace is an online therapy service that connects users to a dedicated, licensed therapist via private messaging and live video from a secure, HIPAA-compliant digital platform. Talkspace is available at no cost for all West Virginia University students (WVU Morgantown, WVU Tech, WVU Potomac State and WVU Online). Students also have the option to receive two 30-minute live video sessions with their Talkspace therapist, each month.

  • Students with very specific presenting concerns might benefit from 3 consultation sessions. These sessions are designed to allow both student/counselor to jump right in and begin addressing the specific concerns, by offering solution focused interventions.
