Website content guide
Have a website and not sure how to approach updating, maintaining and developing content for it? The website content guide will provide resources to help you learn more about best practices for Health Sciences websites.
Infostation Slide Requests
Digital Infostations are the best choice for sharing details about events and information pertinent to the WVU Health Sciences community. Infostation screens are placed around the Health Sciences campus and are a great way to raise awareness of an event or important happenings at Health Sciences. Messages last roughly 8-10 seconds on screen, so information must be concise.
Common Area Guidelines for signage was developed by the Health Sciences Planning Committee and are available for review.
Please note: If this is an event listing that applies to a smaller audience, placing the event on the WVU Calendar will feed through to the Infostations and through the appropriate Health Sciences school websites, as well as the main Health Sciences calendar page.
Health Sciences Announcements
Announcements for Health Sciences events and information may be submitted to appear on the Employee Hub and tagged to distribute in the HSC schools' e-newsletters. All content must be submitted using this form.
Event planning at Health Sciences
Health Sciences supports the events of all schools and programs on campus as they provide avenues for faculty, staff, students, parents and families, and the community, to connect.
Design Project Request
When submitting project requests, please include requested content and all supporting material such as photography, graphics, etc. Due to workload and institutional priorities, design projects are subject to approval.
Social video request form
Short-form social and marketing videos run from 60 to 90 seconds and tell a story. These are videos that can be used on social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, on your website or included in program materials. Due to workload, projects are subject to approval and may be deferred based on institutional priorities. Our current focus includes student recruitment, research news and healthcare commitment and outreach to the state.
