Health Sciences Announcements

Announcements for Health Sciences events, information and alerts may be submitted using this form to appear in HSC Weekly and on health.wvu.edu/hub.

Except in extraordinary circumstances, items must be submitted at least one week in advance.

For an item to be considered, it must meet the following criteria:

  • Submissions must involve an official WVU Health Sciences unit or have a direct connection to the University and its related organizations or initiatives. The final decision to include or not include an announcement is at the discretion of the editors.

  • Content must be in written form and provide the subject matter, date, time and location, along with any photography, graphics or art included.

  • Flyers and brochures will not be posted without supplemental content.

  • Items must be intended for Health Sciences students, faculty, staff, administrators and residents.

Additional university communication channels:

  • All events must be submitted to the WVU Calendar: cal.wvu.edu.

  • Announcements for all WVU students should be submitted to the Campus Announcements website: students.wvu.edu.

  • Announcements for the broader university community should be submitted to WVU E-news: enews.wvu.edu.

  • Announcements intended for WVU Medicine employees must be submitted to connections.wvumedicine.org/submit.

  • HSC-wide Infostations: health.wvu.edu/communication-guide/communications/infostationsdigital-signage.

  • Social media/video production: health.wvu.edu/communication-guide/creative/video-and-multimedia-production.

We do not publish employment openings.
