Program designed for instructors with interest in quality teaching with simulation.

Designed for instructors with an interest in quality teaching with simulation, the West Virginia UniversitySchool of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education offers this simulation certificate program in collaboration with the David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS).

Following this course, participants will understand the components of simulation and be able to apply techniques of simulation education and integrate advanced topics into simulation education.

Fees

  • WVU Employee* $1,000 (including those who are part-time, courtesy, etc.)
  • Non-WVU Employee $1,500

Fees cover meals, conference handouts, Continuing Education credits and certificate of participation.
