Lemongrass Tea

Ingredients
- 3 lemongrass leaves crushed
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 3 cups water
Instructions
- Rinse your lemongrass to get rid of dirt and dust. Watch out for those sharp edges as you cut them.
- Keep a pot for boiling water over your stovetop and add in your lemongrass leaves. This is also a good time to add grated or crushed ginger root if you prefer to use ginger.
- Simmer your tea in the pot covered for about 10 minutes. Switch off the heat.
- Strain the lemongrass leaves and ginger root, from the tea and serve hot with or without sugar.
