coffee mug and a laptop computer

The Women’s Resource Center is partnering with GladRags to offer faculty, staff and students the opportunity to learn more about nondisposable menstrual products from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, on Zoom. Attendees will receive a free cloth underwear liner.

GladRags, a woman-owned company, produces reusable, environmentally friendly products in the United States and sources materials from local and/or woman-owned suppliers.

“Since 2021, the WRC has partnered with AllMatters to distribute more than 1,000 free period cups to WVU students,” said Leslie Tower, director of the Women’s Resource Center. “And now we are excited to work with another great company, GladRags, to offer more choices in nondisposable menstrual products to the WVU community.”

Join the Zoom meeting.

The WVU community is also invited to learn more about the products through the completion of the Menstrual Cup Module, developed by Tower and students from the public health prevention and intervention course, taught by Elizabeth Claydon and Danielle Davidov. The educational module covers the benefits of using nondisposable menstrual cups and solutions to common barriers. Those who successfully complete the module will receive a free AllMatters period cup.

Cups are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Women’s Resource Center.
