Revised employee training module now available
West Virginia University has resumed the employee training module originally titled “Discrimination & Harassment Prevention & Meridians: Title IX.” This original training was temporarily paused to address factual errors subsequently found in the training, and to shorten the training’s length to account for employee schedules.
On the floor or in the field, Faith Community Nursing offers nurses a way to improve health for individuals from diverse faith backgrounds
Foundations of Faith Community Nursing, a course offered by the West Virginia University School of Nursing, teaches students how to improve health in faith communities, as well as to provide quality care to members of different faith backgrounds in the clinical care setting.
Nationally recognized researcher to present “Creating a Culture of Care for Older Adults in Rural Settings”
As part of the West Virginia University School of Nursing’s Judy C. Kandzari Memorial Lectureship, Dr. Lisa Kirk Wiese will present “Creating a Culture of Caring for Older Adults in Rural Settings” Thursday, April 28 at 6 p.m. in the WVU Health Sciences’ Okey Patteson Auditorium.

Attend a screening of the documentary ‘Black Men In White Coats’
The WVU Pre-Health Office, Minorities Aspiring in Health Professions Student Organization and the Honors Live Learn Community will host a screening of the documentary film "Black Men in White Coats" on Thursday, March 3, from 7-9 p.m. in Fukushima Auditorium.
Under the Dome: February 21, 2022 Edition
Under the Dome delivers a review of the issues being considered by the West Virginia Legislature. It provides information on matters that affect WVU and higher education, as well as other hot topics being addressed. This edition provides an update on many bills and activities happening in Charleston, as the Legislature enters the final three weeks of its 60-day work with more than 2,100 bills introduced this year.
