Women in Science and Health Award

The Women in Science & Health Awards are sponsored by the Women in Science & Health (WISH) Committee to recognize outstanding achievements and/or impact by women faculty members while at WVU Health Sciences. Awards are managed by a subcommittee of WISH. This subcommittee is responsible for soliciting and evaluating nominations annually and recommending a nominee to the WISH Committee for final approval.

The Early Career Award, Mid-Career Award and Advanced Career Award recognize a woman faculty member at the assistant, associate and full professor level, respectively, who demonstrates sustained exceptional achievements in diversity and inclusion, education and mentorship, research and scholarship, leadership, and service to the state of West Virginia while supporting the WVU Health Sciences mission and WVU values.
