IMMR Logo

Established in 2016, the In Vivo Multifunctional Magnetic Resonance Center (IMMR) advances the use of functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in research and promotes collaboration across scientific fields — all with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.

Our center brings together expert researchers, cutting-edge imaging technology, and innovative tools to support groundbreaking studies. Resources include:

  • Advanced EPR/NMR spectroscopic and imaging instruments — both commercial and custom-designed.

  • Unique paramagnetic probes developed by our own chemists.

  • Several mouse models of cancer for in vivo imaging of the tumor microenvironment

The IMMR Center operates with support from the WVU Health Sciences Center and the Department of Biochemistry, working together to push the boundaries of imaging research and its impact on human health.
