Three of six analyzers in the WVU Hospitals chemistry lab are now functioning, allowing for a full menu of tests but with limited capacity. Tests affected include electrolytes, troponins, glucose, lipids, thyroid testing, liver enzymes, kidney function testing, metabolic panels, and parathyroid hormone test.
The lab will triage testing by priority and location; it is currently running the samples received since the downtime started earlier today (Sept. 10).
