Swapna Gayam, MD, will announce the three winners of a "best ideas" contest for Mission Green Friday, May 14. Each entry should include detailed plans on how to implement the idea.
Mission Green is an employee-led group created by Dr. Gayam, with a goal to make WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals greener. The healthcare industry accounts for roughly 10 percent of carbon emissions in the U.S.
