In order to assist with the current parking challenges at the WVU Health Sciences Center, faculty and staff may park at the WVU Innovation Corporation and utilize a shuttle service that will be provided directly to the Health Sciences Center. Two shuttle stops will be available:
- The main entrance to the Erma Byrd Research Building adjacent to Lot 80.
- The front entrance of the HSC at the Breast Care Center.
The shuttle will run approximately every 15 minutes, Monday – Friday, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., except for holidays. Parking is available at the Innovation Corporation in the upper lot behind the main building, and the shuttle drop-off and pick-up area will be at the upper lot (see map below).
To gain access to the free parking, faculty and staff must show their valid WVU or WVU Medicine ID at the entrance gate and proceed to the upper parking lot.
Current plans are to operate the shuttle for a two-month trial period to determine the interest and utilization of the service.
