Robert Anthony has been elected employee representative for the West Virginia University Hospitals Board of Directors.
Anthony, a house supervisor who has been with WVUH for 18 years, will serve a two-year term, starting Aug. 1. This will be his second term.
The board has 17 members. The responsibilities and duties of Anthony's role will include:
- Understanding and demonstrating a commitment to the corporation's mission.
- Keeping up to date with issues and trends that affect the organization.
- Contributing skills and knowledge by participating actively in board and committee meetings.
- Ensuring the corporation is complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Along with Anthony, nominees were Charles Grimes and Jaime Billotti.
