Robert Anthony has been elected the employee representative on the WVU Hospitals' board of directors.
Anthony, a house supervisor who has been with WVUH for 16 years, will serve a two-year term, starting Aug. 1. He succeeds Catherine Mayle.
The board has 17 members. Responsibilities and duties include:
- Understanding and demonstrating a commitment to the organization's mission.
- Keeping up to date with issues and trends that affect the organization.
- Contributing skills and knowledge by actively participating in board and committee meetings.
- Ensuring the corporation is complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
