WVU School of Dentistry set to open newly renovated, expanded clinics on Health Sciences Campus

The West Virginia University School of Dentistry and WVU Dental will soon welcome patients to expanded, modernized treatment areas as part of a multiphase renovation project that will relocate several clinics to the WVU Health Sciences Campus from Suncrest Towne Centre.

The Pediatric Dentistry Clinic is scheduled to open May 26, followed by the Dr. Peter Ngan Orthodontic Clinic and the Dental Group Practice clinic on May 28 and the Dental Innovation Center clinic in June. The new clinics will provide patients with enhanced access to care in a state-of-the-art environment.

Patients will be notified if their currently scheduled appointment will be affected by the relocation.

Patients receiving care at the renovated clinics can expect the same high-quality, compassionate care with advanced technology for more precise and personalized treatment methods and a modern, welcoming atmosphere.

All patient records and scheduled appointments will transition to the new location, ensuring continuity of care. The clinics also welcome new patients through direct scheduling by calling 304-293-6208 or through provider referrals.

Directions and parking

The clinics are located at 1 Medical Center Drive inside the WVU Health Sciences Center on the Morgantown Campus, tucked behind J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and adjacent to the WVU Cancer Institute and WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute.

Periodontic and prosthodontic clinics

As the Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry clinics, Dental Innovation Center and Dental Group Practice clinic transition to the WVU Health Sciences Center, the periodontic and prosthodontic clinics are scheduled to move from the third floor of 451 Suncrest Towne Centre Drive to the first floor of 453 Suncrest Towne Centre Drive in late summer. Patients will be notified of appointment location changes.

The relocation of clinics is part of an ongoing renovation and expansion project.
