Dr. James Anderson, a 2022 inductee, pitched the idea of a society while he was a member of the school’s Leadership Council.

“We wanted a really special and unique way to honor and thank our major gift contributors,” Anderson, a 1986 WVU Doctor of Dental Surgery graduate, said.

PALS is a means of recognition, appreciation and stewardship of loyal financial supporters for the school.

Inductees are ceremoniously pinned and receive a specially designed keepsake at an annual celebration. Inductees from each year are invited back for upcoming ceremonies.

Friends of the school of dentistry who are interested in the mission of the society and would like information on induction into PALS should reach out to development officer, Karen Coombs, by email or phone at 304-216-3784.
