First Year WVU Medical Students Visit Charleston Campus
First year medical students from West Virginia University in Morgantown toured the WVU Health Sciences Charleston Campus and the city of Charleston recently to acquaint them with the school, the CAMC Hospital system and the Charleston Area. The bus tour included student housing options, CAMC locations, downtown attractions and gave students a chance to get out and walk the shops and sights from Capital Street to the Capitol Market. Current students and student services staff served as guides and answered questions about the clerkship experience.
A portion of the class will have the opportunity in their third and fourth year clerkships to study at the WVU School of Medicine’s Charleston Campus and it’s teaching hospital Charleston Area Medical Center.
