In a recent skills lab at the West Virginia University School of Nursing Keyser Campus, sophomores in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) learned about musculoskeletal system assessment.

During the assessment, students learned how to safely position, transfer and ambulate patients with fractures, using assistive devices such as crutches, canes, walkers and wheelchairs.
