Millions of Americans are quietly battling with mental health issues each year. Mental health awareness aims to destigmatize, open up conversation, and educate on mental health treatments, conditions and more.

Many individuals do not seek treatment for mental illness due to the associated stigma. 46% of Americans will meet the criteria for a diagnosable mental health condition sometime in their life.

There are many factors that can contribute to mental illness, including physical illness, genetics, injury, traumatic experience, and more. Mental Health America (MHA) is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit organization. MHA works tirelessly to protect the rights and dignity of all individuals. Through the darkness, light will lead the way.

Proceeds from this event will be donated directly to MHA.
