New providers join WVU Medicine

The following providers joined WVU Medicine in November/December 2021:

Morgantown, WV

BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE AND PSYCHIATRY

Jill Greenwood, LPC, is a clinical therapist at Healthy Minds University in the Health Education Building in Morgantown, West Virginia. She was previously a therapist at Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services. She holds a Master of Community Agency Counseling from WVU.

Marissa Tolley, LGSW, is a clinical therapist at Healthy Minds University in the Health Education Building. She was previously employed at Community Care of Clarksburg. She obtained her Master of Social Work from WVU.

Tina Tucker, PLPC, is a clinical therapist at the Healthy Minds clinic on Collins Ferry Road. Tucker is a former counselor at Matilda Theiss Therapeutic Preschool. She is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a national certified counselor.

Jillian Tummons, LGSW, is a clinical therapist at the Healthy Minds clinic at the Glenmark Center. She was most recently a neurocoach and Myndlift specialist and an administration and client services director at the Los Angeles Neurofeedback Center. She earned a Master of Social Work and Mental Health from WVU.

WVU MEDICINE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Nan Garber, MD, is a pediatric critical care physician at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital. She was previously the program director at the University of Maryland. She completed a critical care fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and a pediatric residency at State University of New York at Buffalo.

Kristen Campbell, PNP, is a nurse practitioner in the pediatric intensive care unit. She has been a PICU nurse for five years and earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at WVU.

Dana Saunders, PNP-AC, is a nurse practitioner in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. She was previously employed at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and graduated from Drexel University.

EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Ben Klos, FNP, is a nurse practitioner. He has been a nurse at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital for several years. He earned his MSN from WVU.

WVU HEART AND VASCULAR INSTITUTE

Mark Greathouse, MD, is a non-invasive cardiologist at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) in Morgantown and in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He was previously with South Hills Cardiology at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Elaine Smith, PA-C, is a congestive heart failure physician assistant at the WVU HVI. She was formerly employed at E.A. Hawse Health Center in Mathias, West Virginia.

HOSPITAL MEDICINE

Ellyn McGinnis, PA-C, is a physician assistant on the hospitalist service at Ruby. She previously worked at Uniontown Hospital as a hospitalist. She graduated from Seton Hill University.

INFECTIOUS DISEASES

Jessica Johnson, MD, is an infectious diseases physician at Ruby. She completed a fellowship and an internal medicine residency at WVU and also earned her medical degree there.

OPHTHALMOLOGY

Praveen Jeyaseeland, MD, is a neuro-ophthalmologist at the WVU Eye Institute. He completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins and a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship at Northwestern University.

Ayse Ebru Toker, MD, is a cornea specialist at the WVU Eye Institute. She was most recently a professor and chair in the Department of Ophthalmology at Marmara University Medical School in Turkey.

OTOLARYNGOLOGY

James Hickman, AudD, is an audiologist at Ruby. He earned his degree from WVU and was most recently an audiologist at Houston Ear, Nose, and Throat.

Jenna Runchey, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Ruby. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island.

PULMONARY CRITICAL CARE AND SLEEP MEDICINE

Sandy Gray, FNP, is a nurse practitioner in the medical intensive care unit at Ruby. She has been a nurse at Ruby for many years and earned her MSN at WVU.

WVU ROCKEFELLER NEUROSCIENCE INSTITUTE

Andriana Mayle, FNP, is a nurse practitioner at the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. She was previously a nurse at Ruby and earned her MSN at WVU. 

Rachel Stouffer, FNP, is a nurse practitioner at the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. She was previously a nurse at Ruby and earned her MSN at WVU. 

SURGICAL SERVICES

Anna Reece, PA, is a physician assistant at the WVU Critical Care and Trauma Institute. She graduated from Marietta College.

Bridgeport, WV

WVU HEART AND VASCULAR INSTITUTE

Kristen Bell, DO, is a non-invasive cardiologist at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia. She is a former WVU Heart and Vascular Institute faculty member and has practiced at the VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Patricia Parrish, PA-C, is a cardiology physician assistant at United Hospital Center. She previously worked at Monongahela Valley Association of Health Centers.

Fairmont, WV

PRIMARY CARE

The following providers joined the West Fairmont outpatient clinic in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Karyn Molinari-Fryer, DO, is a former pediatrician at Cardinal Pediatrics.

Kathryn Sherlock, MD, is a former staff physician with Pediatric Partners in Fairmont.

Bryan Daunt, PA-C, is a physician assistant in pain management at the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute location in Hagerstown, Maryland. He graduated from Shenandoah University.

LaVale, MD

Jackie Browning, FNP, is a primary care nurse practitioner at LaVale Medical Center in LaVale, Maryland. She previously practiced at Surgcare of Western Maryland and earned her MSN at WVU.

McHenry, MD

URGENT CARE

Liz Allen, PA-C is a physician assistant at McHenry Urgent Care in McHenry, Maryland. She graduated from Wingate University in North Carolina.

Wheeling, WV

WVU CANCER INSTITUTE

Zelia Bowman, MD, is a hematology and oncology specialist at Wheeling Hospital. She completed a hematology and oncology fellowship at WVU and an internal medicine residency at Charleston Area Medical Center.
