Student Nurses' Association volunteers for Rosenbaum House dinner

The West Virginia University Student Nurses' Association (SNA) recently cooked and served a spaghetti dinner for Rosenbaum House guests. Nursing faculty donations made this service event possible.

"I am proud of the outcome of the event, as it was the first event that SNA has participated in this year," said Lexie Keener, SNA President. "It’s always nice to interact with the families at the Rosenbaum House and put a smile on their faces."

She said the SNA volunteers were hands-on and ensured every necessary task was accomplished. She said SNA plans to volunteer for additional dinners this year.

"I also want to thank those who donated to help feed these families and I know that each and every individual there wants to send a 'thank you' as well!"

The Rosenbaum Family House provides accommodations in Morgantown near Ruby Memorial Hospital for families of those being treated at WVU Medicine.
