Several nursing students represented the West Virginia University School of Nursing Keyser Campus during a high school health careers fair, as well as an alumni event.

The high school health careers fair, sponsored by WVU Medicine Potomac Valley Hospital and Mineral County Technical Center, was held Oct. 13 in the Davis Conference Center on the WVU Potomac State College campus.

Keyser campus BSN students Madison Fout (junior), Emily Golden (junior), Ashleigh Burgess (senior), and Marilee Kitzmiller (sophomore) helped Mineral County high school students check in for the event and guided students to display tables to learn about different healthcare professions.

BSN students also participated Oct. 15 in the WVU Potomac State College Coffee and Classes Homecoming Academics Fair, which was held for alumni to showcase the many student activities happening on campus.

Students representing the nursing major were Kendra Pratt (senior), Mackenzie Cook (senior), Stacy Gallant (senior), Marissa Guy (junior), Brenna Jackson (sophomore) and Kirk Bryant (sophomore).
