Virtual Grant Writing Workshop: Developing a Competitive NIH Application

Save the date for an upcoming virtual grant writing workshop series titled, "Developing a Competitive NIH Application." In this series Dr. Joan Lakoski, WVCTSI director of investigator development, and Dr. Robert Milner, from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, will present on several NIH funding mechanisms including Fellowship (F Awards), Career Development (K Awards) and Research Program Grants (R Awards), the NIH grant review process and strategies on how to prepare a successful grant application for these awards. This grant writing workshop is designed for trainees, including graduate and professional students in the health sciences, postdoctoral fellows, residents and fellows, and early stage investigator faculty.
