WVU Nursing faculty participate in 18th Annual Social Work and Community Health Institute
The 18th Annual Social Work and Community Health Institute, hosted by the WVU School of Nursing, An Giang University, and the Pacific Links Foundation, recently offered free social work and community health workshops to participants.
More than 2,600 individuals participated in the Zoom event, which was offered in English and Vietnamese. The event boasted 20 sessions featuring 15 topics and 17 speakers.
WVU School of Nursing presenters included Amy Ankrom, Mike Bellisario and Susan Newfield.
In participant evaluations, they found the topics were engaging, provided them with a better understanding, and would be applicable at their work.
