WVU Nursing to host DNP Nurse Anesthetist information session Aug. 3

The West Virginia University School of Nursing is hosting an online information session for the DNP Nurse Anesthetist program Thursday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. During the event, attendees can learn more about the program from director Dr. Aaron Ostrowski.

While the online event is open to anyone interested in becoming a nurse anesthetist, recruitment specialist Phillip Engelkemier says the event will be most beneficial to individuals who have completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and are considering applying for the program within the next year or two.

“Prospective students can learn about application deadlines, as well as program requirements and cost,” Engelkemier said. “Attendees can also learn more about the curriculum and they will have an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.”
