WVU School of Nursing celebrates the Class of 2022

During the May 14 ceremony in Morgantown, the West Virginia University School of Nursing celebrated its graduating Class of 2022.

During the event, the School celebrated 135 students who completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree; 36 who completed their Master of Science in Nursing degree; four for their completion of the post masters’ certificate program; one who completed their Doctor of Nursing Practice degree; and one who completed their PhD in Nursing.

Tara Hulsey, Dean and E. Jane Martin Endowed Professor, addressed the graduates, both congratulating them and tasking them with the leadership on the road ahead.

“The values of our school of nursing are Integrity, Excellence, and Inclusiveness. I challenge you to live these values throughout your career,” she said.

Clay Marsh, Chancellor and Executive Dean for Health Sciences, also spoke during the ceremony, encouraging the promotion of health and wellness throughout the state of West Virginia and beyond.
