In 2017, the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center made a significant infrastructure investment for the creation of a new and highly expanded Inhalation Facility. The WVU HSC has also committed and sustained 3 years of support for the Toxicology Working Group (TWG).
Many members of the TWG are regular users of the Inhalation Facility or active collaborators with Inhalation Facility users. A truly unique training environment exists with the immediate proximity of the WVU Engineering, HSC, WVU Medicine, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Investigators from all of these entities are members of the TWG and are preceptors in this training plan.
