Role of Neurokinin B and Kisspeptin in Ovine Puberty

This proposal uses highly innovative techniques such as neuronal ablation and RNAscope together with our expertise in central drug delivery and immunohistochemistry to examine central mechanisms of ovine puberty.

These studies will provide novel and important insight allowing for improved control of puberty onset, leading to improved reproductive efficiency in livestock and increased profitability for producers.
