The Role of Myeloperioxidase in Immunotherapy Resistance in Sarcoma

This proposal takes an innovative approach to measure systemic inflammation in sarcoma. Using spatial transcriptomics, we can use our large bank of FFPE samples to create a MPO granulocyte signature that better correlates with immunotherapy resistance and disease recurrence.

In this preliminary project we aim to confirm that MPO is present and elevated in sarcoma patients.
