WV AHEC

The WVU School of Medicine is a recipient of a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Area Health Education Center (AHEC) grant.
The AHEC grant supports programs that:
Provide community-based education for health professions students
Offer continuing education for health professionals
Support high school programs (grades 9–12) that help students explore careers in health professions
Focus on students and professionals in rural and underserved areas
AHEC Survey and Learning Modules for Health Professions Students
As part of the AHEC program evaluation, HRSA requires all WVU students participating in rural or community-based rotations to complete a short survey at the end of their rotation.
Incentive:
Students who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win $500.
