Through implementation of a Million Hearts® project, the School of Pharmacy and WVU Heart and Vascular Institute Advanced Heart Failure Program have worked to improve cardiovascular health in communities across the Mountain State. The initiative focused on improving access to guideline-directed medical therapy for heart failure and improving health disparities in heart failure care.
