Last year, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) brought together experts from 17 organizations—including the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the National Cancer Institute—with two goals: to review the latest scientific evidence and offer recommendations about the benefits of exercise for prevention, treatment, recovery and improved survival.
One of the experts was Nicole Stout DPT, CLT-LANA, FAPTA, a renowned healthcare researcher and faculty member at West Virginia University's Cancer Institute, School of Medicine and School of Public Health.
