Join WVU and United Way for the Blue and Gold Mine Sale
West Virginia University and United Way are asking students and community members to consider donating any unwanted household items to the Blue & Gold Mine Sale. This annual sale is focused on keeping the community clean, diverting good usable items from the landfill and raising money for the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties.
From May 1 through May 10, students may drop off donations to any residence hall collection area or one of the five collection trailers located on Grant Avenue, at top of Falling Run Road, Chateau Royale, Parking Area 81 near Mountaineer Station and College Park Apartments. Community members are welcome to use one of the five collection trailers, as well.
The sale will take place at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday, May 13, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will reopen from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. later that evening for a 50% off everything sale! To learn more about the collection process and sale, please visit the Blue and Gold Mine Sale website.
