To help students build critical thinking skills in a time-sensitive setting, a WVU School of Nursing Keyser Campus instructor recently led a health-related escape room.

Matthew Hottle, a nursing instructor who teaches Adult Health 1 to juniors, led his clinical group Aug. 29 in a neuro escape room.

His students completed critical thinking activities and skills to gather puzzle pieces about the time-sensitive care of a patient experiencing a stroke. All participating students were successful!
