National catalog features Public Health grad’s dissertation

The most recent National Home Visiting Resource Center Reference Catalog features the work of a West Virginia University School of Public Health alumna. A 2019 graduate of the PhD in Public Health Sciences program with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences, Angela Dyer’s dissertation, titled “A Comprehensive Evaluation of a Home Visitation Program Model’s Prenatal Physical Activity Curriculum Modules Delivered Primarily to Low-Income Women,” is one of less than ten dissertations included in the catalog.

National Home Visiting Resource Center provides comprehensive information about early childhood home visiting, matching expectant parents and parents of young children with support services. The catalog features home visiting research and evaluation, including evaluation plans, research briefs, conference and poster presentations, cost studies, and fact sheets.

Dyer is a research associate in the WVU Office of Health Affairs concentrating on activities associated with the State Opioid Response grant via the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
