Travel Medicine Clinic provides health safeguards

As the West Virginia University community gears up for Spring Break, the Travel Medicine Clinic has launched a new website to provide information about medical services that can safeguard health when preparing for travel. The clinic is available for WVU students as well as the community. Clinic services include an in-depth assessment of any travel itinerary with specific health recommendations and on-site vaccinations. Providers can also address concerns such as traveler’s diarrhea, altitude illness, history of allergies, and motion sickness.

The WVU Student Health Building is located across from the WVU Student Recreation Center and is open Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To contact the WVU Medicine Travel Medicine Clinic, call 304-285-7200. Visit health.wvu.edu/clinics/travel-medicine to access the new website.
