WVU trauma team collecting personal hygiene products and clothing for Ukrainians

WVU’s trauma team, led by Dr. Alison Wilson, is utilizing a distribution pipeline developed through collaborative efforts with the World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Associations in the United States to provide clothing, personal hygiene products and supplies to Ukrainians in need.

Donations will be collected on the WVU Health Sciences Campus Monday, April 25 through Friday, May 6. Items most in need include:

  • NEW adult and children’s socks, hats and gloves
  • NEW blankets
  • NEW small stuffed animals for children
  • ACE bandage wraps
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Rain ponchos
  • First aid kits

Donations can also be purchased through an Amazon Wishlist: Donation Drive for Ukraine. Items will be shipped directly to Dr. Wilson for inclusion in a bulk shipment to Ukraine.

Items can be dropped off in bins located in designated areas in the Health Sciences Center:

  • Hallway behind the Pylons Lobby on the first floor.
  • Outside the HSC Bookstore on the ground floor.
  • Beside the ATM machine near the entrance to The Market @ HSC on the ground floor.
