Teaching Scholars Program
The Faculty Development Office is pleased to announce a new structure for the Longitudinal Teaching Scholars Program (LTSP), launching with the 2025–2027 cohort. This reimagined format is designed to better meet the needs of busy health sciences faculty while continuing to deliver high-quality, meaningful professional development.
Mission
Our Mission is to help educators on the Health Sciences Campus develop educational skills they need to deliver engaging content, broad concepts in health professions and skills to help them overcome challenging situations throughout their careers.
Vision
Our Vision of LTSP envisions a thriving community of faculty educators across HSC who are empowered to innovate, lead, and elevate the quality of health professions education thorough evidence-based teaching, collaborative scholarship, and educational leadership.
Goals
Our goal is to provide the following:
To cultivate a cohort of faculty who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to:
Enhance skills in clinical, large group, and simulation-based teaching
Learn to design and lead courses, clerkships, and graduate programs
Gain tools for successful educational scholarship
Engage deeply with content through an interactive new format
Build collaborative relationships with faculty across HSC
We will accept applications until Friday, September 5, 2025.
A fee of $200 per person to participate in the program.
