Position: Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities, General:
- Demonstrate and influence a culture of good team work to deliver an extra ordinary experience for every patient
- Provide exceptional service to our patients by making the patient the # 1 priority
- Participate in daily huddles with other team members to ensure every day flows smoothly
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
- Follow safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and federal regulations
- Maintain compliance with CE and licensing
Responsibilities, Clinical:
- Welcome patients in the office
- Prepare patients for their appointments and ensure their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and needed material
- Provide preventive services to patients including prophylaxis, fluoride, radiographs, and sealants
- Sterilize instruments according to protocol
- Advise the front desk staff on patient scheduling to optimize clinical time
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure the clinical & lab areas remain clean and appropriately stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records and update patient database as necessary
- Accurately record and document diagnosed treatment plans
- Ensure dental equipment in hygiene bay remains serviceable and in good working order

- Proven experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, primary computer systems (EagleSoft, MS Office, Weave, Gmail, OperaDDS)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
Education, Certification and/or Licenses: Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene License
